The hall is located on New Karner Rd between Central Ave. ( Rte. # 5 ) and Watervliet - Shaker Rd.
If you approach from Central Ave., the hall is 5/10's of a mile on the left.
If you approach from Watervliet - Shaker Rd., the hall is 4/10's of a mile on the right.
There is a banner that says Celtic Hall hung on the sign in front of the building.
There is parking on both sides of the building, the unlocked door is on the south side (side closest
to Central Ave.).
Take NYS Thruway to Exit 27 (Amsterdam).
Turn right on Rte. 30 north to Rte. 5 West.
Take Rte. 5 West to Rte. 67.
Turn right onto Rte. 67 to F.M.C.C. Campus on the right (approx. 3 1/2 miles).
Traveling North on 30A, turn left on South Kingsboro Ave.
Follow past the cemetery on your left. (This is where the parade ends.)
Follow South Kingsboro to 8th Ave.
Turn left onto 8th Ave.
Formation in the Price Chopper parking lot.
Take Thruway to Exit 24.
Take I-90 to Exit 12.
Turn right onto Rte. 9. Take to Hudson.
As you enter Hudson, Rte. 9 becomes Fairview Ave.
Rte. 9 turns right onto Green St.
South Holmes is at the western end of Scotia. Drive straight through Scotia on Rte. 5 (Mohawk Ave.
in Scotia) past Vine / Eagle and Hawk Sts. on the right.
South Holmes is the next left.
If you can't get thru Scotia by 5:00 pm or so, you may have to go around and approach from the West.
You can take I-890 to the end @ Rte. 5.
Turn right on Rte. 5.
As you come into Scotia, look for South Holmes after Toll St. on the right.
Turn left on Rte. 50.
Go past Marion Ave. (Rte. 9 from the left).
Turn right onto East St.
Go up hill and turn right onto Broadway.
Turn left into campus.
Go North on Rte. 9.
Turn left on the Avenue of the Pines (Gideon Putnam / Golf Course / Hall of Springs
/ SPAC).
Bear right at "Y" intersection.
Take first left at the Auto Museum(check with security here for help to parking lot if you haven't been before).
Just before the SPAC entrance, turn right into the parking lot. The band usually sets
up near the back of lot on the left.
Take Northway (I-87) North to Exit 9.
Take Rte. 146 heading East to Rtes. 32 & 4.
Turn left onto Rtes. 32 & 4 and go through Mechanicville.
Turn left onto Campbell Rd.
Look for Arvin Hart Firehouse on Campbell Rd.
